3. The underlying teeth have decay. Porcelain veneers are tightly fitted to the front surface of the tooth, however, it is possible that the veneer can come away from the tooth slightly allowing bacteria to build beneath it. If this does happen and you feel your veneer is loose speak to your dentist as they may be able to rectify this before having to fit another. It is also possible that decay within the tooth can cause you to need more extensive treatment such as a crown.<\/p>\n

The approximate veneer cost will vary depending on what dentist you visit. Typically porcelain veneers cost around \u00a3700 per tooth. To have your veneers refitted will usually cost the same as starting again, and this is because the same procedure of design, preparation and creation will still occur.<\/p>\n
